Kada su vile došle u kolibu zatekle su nered i prinčevu lovačku kapu, pa shvate da je Grdana otela Filipa. One se upute na Zabranjenu planinu i pronalaze Grdanine sluge kako slave plešući oko vatre pred njenim prestolom. Grdana pođe u sobu, u kojoj sedi okovani Filip i ismeva ga govoreći kako Aurora sada spava i sanja o zaljubljenosti, pa da će ga pustiti nakon sto godina kao starca da ide gde hoće. Grdana zadovoljna napušta Filipa, ismevajući njegov bes. Vile ulaze u sobu i oslobode princa kojeg pronalazi gavran i počne glasno gakati. Princu vile daruju čarobni mač istine i štit vrlina. Grdanine sluge bacaju kamenje i strele, ali vile ih pretvaraju u balončiće i cveće. Jedna od vila pretvara gavrana u kip. Grdana videvši da je princ pobegao okruži neprohodnim trnjem i šibljem dvorac kralja Stefana. Princ uz pomoć vila raskrči i prođe kroz trnje i šiblje. Iznenađena Filipovim uspehom Grdana dolazi pred dvorac i kaže princu da će sada imati posla s njom i sa svim silama pakla. Grdana se pretvori u crno-ljubičastog zmaja, koji bljuje vatru. Filip naizgled bespomoćan na ivici litice uperi mač istine pravo u zmajevo srce. Zmaj Grdana padne niz liticu i od njega ostane pepeo. Princ ulazi u dvorac i u najvišoj sobi dvorca probudi i razveseli Auroru poljupcem. Kraljevstvo se probudi iz sna, a Aurora i Filip se venčaju. Vile nastavljaju borbu oko boje haljine i dok par pleše, neprestano ju menjaju iz plave i ružičastu i obrnuto. Aurora i Filip su živeli srećno do kraja života.
