BlackBerry — or rather TCL, the company that now deals with BlackBerry-branded handsets — has a new version of the Keyone on the horizon: the BlackBerry Keyone Black Edition. Firstly, the Keyone Black Edition will come with 64GB of internal storage instead of the default 32GB. That's handy, but given both models come with a microSD card slot, it's hardly essential. Secondly, the Keyone Black Edition gets an extra gigabyte of RAM, pushing it from 3GB to 4GB. This kind of upgrade doesn't come for free, and the new model will go for £50 more, retailing at £550. That's a little hard to swallow, given we thought the meagre specs of the original handset didn't warrant the premium pricetag — but the march of time has actually been a bit more kind to the Keyone in that respect, with everyone from HTC and Sony to Samsung and LG pricing their flagships at £650 and above. We'd still recommend trying to track down a good deal on one of those unless you really need a hardware keyboard, but it's not as clear a dividing line as it used to be. And do you really want a chunky phone in your pocket with none of the big-screen payback that comes with a phone like the Huawei P10 Plus, the Mate 9 or the Google Pixel XL?
